Start from your base

A wheel goes on a base through a quick release, and every brand has its own: another brand's wheel often needs an adapter, and sometimes nothing official exists. Of the 250 wheels here, 212 had their fit read on their makers' sites on 5 November 2026: pick your base at the top of the guide to see how each goes on it and what to buy as well. For the 38 others, it is marked "Fit unknown": the guide doesn't guess it.

What makers point out and buyers miss
  • At MOZA, the GS V2P, CS V2P, KS Pro, CS Pro, Revuelto and Mustang GTD go through the quick release's slip ring: they don't work on the wireless-only V1 bases (R9, R16 and R21 from before 2023), and neither do the ES and ESX. source
  • Simagic's Zeus wheels plug straight in on the Alpha EVO only: on an Alpha, Alpha Mini, Alpha Ultimate or M10, they need the MagLink Pro. source
  • At Simucube, the Valo and Savu in their Link QR version (Simucube 3) have no battery: a Simucube 2 doesn't power them. For a Simucube 2, it takes their Simucube 2 version. source
  • At Thrustmaster, the EVO Racing 32R and the Ferrari 488 GT3 only work on the T598 and T818 once on firmware 2.04, and the update can't be undone. The Hypercar, SF-25, GT Wheel and 499P only go on the T818 and T598. source
  • At Fanatec, PlayStation goes through the base: only the ClubSport DD+ and the Gran Turismo DD Pro are licensed today. Xbox goes through the wheel or the hub, which must be an Xbox version. source
Wireless doesn't mean on a battery

103 of the 207 wheels whose sheet says so have no USB cable to plug: their buttons go through the quick release or wirelessly (the "No USB cable to plug" filter). But "wireless" means two things: at Simagic or MOZA, the wheel talks to the base without a wire and the base powers it; at Cube Controls, Simucube or Ascher, it has a battery to charge. 50 sheets say "wireless" and only 10 give a battery life: the guide doesn't compare batteries.

The quick release isn't always in the box

According to their makers, 106 wheels come with their wheel-side quick release, 106 need it bought apart and 12 depending on the version. Each opened wheel says which.

The console goes mostly through the base

According to their makers, 56 wheels play on PS5, always depending on the base: at Fanatec as at Thrustmaster, the PlayStation licence is in the base. On Xbox, 13 wheels are announced by their maker and 16 depend on the base they're mounted on. The "I play on" filter keeps them; each opened wheel says how.

Waiting for Black Friday?

−1.4 % median drop of the best price of the 91 wheels tracked for a year, over Black Friday 2025. Only 11 hit their lowest price then.

164 of 250 wheels are within 1% of their lowest recorded price today: the "At their lowest today" filter keeps them.

Fit on bases read on the makers' sites on November 5, 2026; specs read on the makers' and the shops' pages; prices recorded every day in the shops. The Blade BR5 and the Turtle Beach Racer, sold as complete wheels, go on no base: this guide doesn't list them.
